Omgeo has indicated they will not support the current processing engine - "Local Match"- in 2011 and is planning to officially retire it. This requires Fidelity Investments to migrate to Omgeo's CTM system for matching trades and update associated in-house systems to accommodate the migration.

Remove processing functionality from the AS400 which is obsolete technology to a new technology platform

We are seeking a skilled systems and application support analyst to join the Fidelity Charitable Services Technology team. In this role you will work with management to create a strategy and implementation plan for production services, assist in creating methodology to manage the production and non-production environments. You will be accountable for Service Level Compliance, Application Availability and Disaster Contingency, Incident Management, level 2 application supports, release management, automation of manual processes.

The successful candidate will have excellent trouble shooting abilities, a strong focus on customer communication and service. The candidate must have proven experience in UNIX shell scripting, Java Scripts, source control system, Oracle SQL, MS SQL and J2EE technology.

Primary Responsibilities

Maintaining and enhancing existing multi-tiered business applications

Assist in coordinating technical tasks of various infrastructure support teams responsible for the distributed components of the application

Provide 24 x 7 on-call support for the application on a rotating basis (flexibility to cover for team members as needed.)

Manage day-to-day interactive and batch processing operations

Ensure high availability of production applications

Provide application support when needed on weekends and early evenings

Work with the development teams in the transition of new application functionality from the development/UAT/production warranty phases to the full production support model

Provide test environment infrastructure support to QA and UAT release testing.

* Bachelor's degree and 5 years demonstrated work experience or an equivalent combination of related training and experience

* 5+ years of increasing responsibility in information technology services and support

* 3+ years of experience within a financial services organization
