Strategic Advisers employs fundamental, quantitative, and hybrid investment approaches to managing money. At the core of Strategic Advisers' investment management and lifetime financial solutions is a dedicated research team. This team works closely with the portfolio management team, providing comprehensive research that helps guide investment selection.

Strategic Advisers believes superior investment performance depends on a sound partnership between fundamental and quantitative research teams. The fundamental team meets face-to-face with portfolio managers, and performs in-house analysis of numerous fundamental and quantitative factors, developed and improved in partnership with the quantitative research team. The majority of quantitative analysts are embedded on investment teams dedicated to different asset classes, working in partnership with portfolio managers and fundamental analysts. In addition there is a central quant team that works across the asset classes, principally on new initiatives.
