Description

The Senior Analyst will work closely with members of Strategic Advisers, Inc. (SAI) business and SAI Technology teams to lead and/or participate in projects of various size and complexity. They will participate in all aspects of efficiency and new product development as needed (e.g., assist investment professional with business and data requirements needs, participate in data and user acceptance testing, etc.). The Senior Data Quality Analyst oversees the data quality analysts' efforts to ensure/validate data quality and analytic engines on a daily basis and identifies/resolves data exceptions resulting from either internal, analyst-generated data or vendor data.

Primary Responsibilities

* Responsible for managing group of data quality analysts

* Establish reliable methods for collecting and managing qualitative and quantitative data

* Conduct descriptive and inferential statistical data analysis

* Develop understanding of data entity and attribute relationships

* Resolve data integration issues

* Successfully complete independent and collaborative research

* Engage with customers to understand data-related issues and suggest strategies/approaches to extract the necessary intelligence from the data

* Escalate issues to senior management as appropriate for resolution

Qualifications

Education and Experience


* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

* 2+ years of experience in financial services required

* 2+ years of management experience is required

* Experience in data analytics, quantitative analysis, data fusion, data mining, operations research, and/or data manipulation preferred

* Experience with one or more programming language, such as SQL and SAS required

* Able to manage client relationships and provide guidance to staff

* Broad understanding and knowledge of applicable business processes

* Solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

* Good organizational and project/people management skills

* Objective, creative, and diplomatic team player

* Ability to function in a high volume setting with tight deadlines

* Attention to details and accuracy focus
