Description

Purpose / Objective

This position will primarily focus on developing the PWI intranet sites and custom web applications. The associate must have the ability to work with external and internal partners to provide the timeliest and most appropriate information. Additionally, this associate will assist the PWI Communications team with other communications projects and activities, as needed.

Responsibilities

* Work with Communications and cross-PWI business partners to develop Web-based solutions for achieving communications goals including the PWI intranet site and CSS Central

* Build new sites, maintain existing code and troubleshoot by writing consistent, reliable and maintainable, .Net & Java code.

* Work closely with user community for project definition and with other technical groups in a highly collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment, on the development and on-going maintenance of site.

* Support and maintain sites' functional and design requirements

* Review all web site updates and content to ensure adherence to Fidelity and PWI standards.

* Build relationships with other website/intranet owners within Fidelity for idea sharing and resource pooling.

* Coordinate graphic content of web site and other collateral materials working with the Communications staff.

* QA /test all project work

Qualifications

Education and Experience


* Requires five or more years experience managing a web site for timely, business-focused communications.

* Experience coordinating communications and web activities.

* Ability to work simultaneously on several types of projects.

* Proficiency in .NET 2.0, Languages: C#, HTML, JavaScript, XML, SQL

* Experience using the internet for research and evaluation purposes.

* BA/BS in Communications or relevant experience.

* Quick learner with a demonstrated ability to quickly become effective in a new position.

* Able to work with dynamic project teams with a wide range of business and systems partners in multiple Locations:.

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills - ability to capture/articulate and accurately document key points, identify and work issues, etc.

* Detail-oriented, balanced with the ability to understand and maintain sight of the big picture on a project.

* Organized and methodical approach to project life cycle activities. Experience with systems development life cycle methodology.

* Self-motivated and proactive.

* Ability to contribute to project plan, accurately communicate status, and meet agreed upon Schedule:s.

* Both a team player and strong individual contributor.
