Job Desription

The Consulting Analyst is part of the Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions (FCCS) Practice Management team. In FCCS we help our institutional clients thrive by growing their businesses, more effectively meeting customer needs, and enhancing operational efficiency and profitability. This role will be part of a team that provides management consulting services to current and prospective clients with a focus on business strategy, operations and efficiency, and technology solutions.

The Expertise We’re Looking For
Undergraduate degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
3-5 years of experience within the financial services industry
Prior exposure to brokerage, wealth management, and/or RIA business models preferred
Series 7, 63 preferred. Required to obtain within 90 days.

The Purpose of Your Role

The Consulting Analyst will partner with senior consultants to assess client needs and define potential future state solutions. This individual will work to enhance engagement deliverables, ultimately helping to provide an outstanding experience to our clients and business partners.

The Value You Deliver
Acting as a fully functioning member of the Business Consulting team, directly participating in consulting projects that help clients increase productivity and efficiency
Responsible for understanding client business drivers and leveraging internal and third-party data to create insightful presentations that are delivered to senior management teams as part of the consulting engagements.
Studying and understanding the competitive landscape, industry trends, technology vendors and overall influencers such as investor demographics, consumer technology and regulatory issues
Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Fidelity’s National Financial platform, technology offering, and product solutions, as well as our competitive position within the marketplace

Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions (FCCS) provides a comprehensive clearing and custody platform, brokerage services, trading capabilities and practice management and consulting to registered investment advisors (RIAs), broker-dealers, banks, insurance companies, and retirement record keepers.

The consulting team works closely with the sales and relationship management teams, as well as internal business partners. Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for key internal programs that drive scale and efficiency for the organization.
