Position Description

Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services (FIWS) is a leading provider of trading, custody and brokerage services to Registered Investment Advisors, Trust Institutions

and Third Party Administrators. The company is able to leverage the capital, resources and expertise of the Fidelity organization, one of the world's largest

businesses, more effectively meeting customer needs, and enhancing operational efficiency and profitability. Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services

custodies over $430 billion in assets on behalf of 3,300 clients, as of March 31, 2010. The Vice President will develop new advisor business relationships for FIWS across the RIA, Wirehouse and Broker Dealer channels in a defined territory.

Primary Responsibilities

* Meet/exceed specified asset growth and new client goals in the assigned territory

* Understand and effectively communicate FIWS' value proposition to prospects and centers of influence

* Partner with the other Fidelity businesses to help introduce a full line of Fidelity products, services and capabilities to prospects.

* Manage territory effectively. Submit weekly reports timely and accurately.

* Develop an understanding of the prospects business through profiling and determine if FIWS products and services can add value to the prospects business.

* Partner with Inside Sales, Business Development and Implementation teams on lead generation activities and on-boarding of new relationships

* Understand and utilize pricing model for profitability.

* Leverage Fidelity funds and the Investment Services team.

Qualifications

Education and Experience


* Bachelors degree required

* Series 7 required

* 10+ years successful sales experience in the financial services industry.

Skills and Knowledge


* Must have successful sales track record and territory management experience.

* Institutional sales experience required. Knowledge of the RIA, Brokerage and Wirehouse markets preferred.

* Must have in-depth knowledge of Fidelity and competitor products.

* Custody expertise, client business knowledge, and understanding of competitor strategies, strengths and vulnerabilities.

* Must demonstrate presentation, communication and listening skills.

* Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills and computer literacy.
