Position Description

Fidelity's Supply Management organization plays a leadership role in the procurement efforts of roughly $4B of expenditure annually. This position will play a significant role in providing analysis to drive performance of the organization and ensuring we have the proper controls and oversight of expenses.

Position Responsibilities

* Planning and analysis - providing insightful analysis aligned with driving the performance of the FEO organization as well as supporting the group in strategic and operational planning efforts.

* Controllership - helping develop and oversee control processes designed to ensure protection of the company's assets and integrity. Develop management routines to facilitate financial statement sign off, manage exposure and visibility to areas of risk and ensure financial framework accuracy.

* Ad-hoc analysis - as part of the team, support request from various constituents to analyze particular areas of focus and interest.

* Budgeting, planning and forecasting - provide ongoing financial oversight to the budgeting and planning cycles, lead creation of internal FSM budgets, mid-month estimates and quarterly forecasts

* Accounting support - FSM finance point of contact with accounting in support of the close process and business unit accounting responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience


* A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, plus a minimum of 4-6 years experience in a financial or business analysis role is required.

* An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

* Experience driving and/or managing projects is a plus.

Skills and Knowledge


* Highly motivated, quality oriented team player with excellent analytical, process, and organizational skills needed.

* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.

* Qualified candidates will have a thorough understanding of accounting and financial principles and techniques.

* Knowledge of Fidelity information and accounting systems is a plus

* Excellent knowledge of spreadsheets, modeling and finance technology in general is required.

* Ability to work independently across a highly matrixed organization.
