Position Description
As part of the firm-wide international program Fidelity Capital Markets' Securities Finance desk will be expanding its scope to include international markets. This initiative is important to realize incremental revenues, facilitate firm funding initiatives and to expand the firm's international product suite.
Primary Responsibilities
The Product Manager for the International Securities Finance business will be responsible for establishing and executing the strategic direction of that business line. The Product Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the product, including Trading / Operations / Technology & Infrastructure.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
* 10-15 years relevant experience
* Mid /Senior level management experience.
* Undergraduate degree required, MBA a plus.
* Experience in all facets of the product, including front office, operations, middle office and technology
* Experience with client-facing and cross-company initiatives.
* Expertise in project management discipline.
* Prior experience and oversight responsibility for technology and business budget planning, including staffing.
Skills and Knowledge
* High level of familiarity with technology service providers in the securities finance space.
* Ability to hold individuals accountable for results.
* Ability to lead and motivate teams.
* Strong project organization and controlling skills.
* Comfortable working with all levels of staff.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Must have experience with SunGard products, including Martini / Global One, Loanet, SWIFT and DTCC.
