Position Description

We are seeking an experienced, skilled and energetic analyst to fill the position of Systems Analyst in Fidelity Investments Institutional Services (FIIS) Sales Technology group located in Smithfield, RI. As an individual contributor within the CDIS team, the selected candidate will be tasked with providing the analysis and design efforts in support of Customer Data Information System (CDIS) Batch and Data Warehouse applications.

Primary Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the customer on technology strategy, project management, requirements, design, testing, and implementation to provide systems solutions and coordinate overall delivery of technology services.

Work directly with the client organizations to outline business processes, define complex business requirements and design solutions for both medium and large projects. FSDM (Fidelity System Development Methodology) phase involvement will include PPI (Project Charter), SRA (Business and Systems Requirements) and SDS (System Delivery Specification).

Collaborate with other technologists to design technical specifications, document SDS (Systems Delivery Specification).

*

Create user acceptance test plans and execute testing for the SIT, SAT and UAT phases of the FSDM methodology.

Qualifications

Education and Experience


· BS/BA Degree

· 3 - 4+ years of systems analysis experience, with a focus in financial services applications

Skills and Knowledge


· Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills

· Expertise in technology project experience

· Medium-scale full project life cycle experience across multiple platforms and technologies

· Experience with database query tools / Strong SQL skills

· Data analysis/mining experience

· Data mapping experiences w/data movement and transformation a plus

· Deep knowledge of development lifecycle methodology

· Excellent written and oral communication skills, both with customers, technical team members, and other technical contributors across the organization

· Ability to produce clear and concise requirements (SRA) and systems specifications (SDS) documents
