Position Description
As a member of the Managed Account Product Team with the Personal and Workplace Investing (PWI) organization, the VP of Product Experience will lead the design and development of the end to end customer experience for the Portfolio Advisory Services (PAS) offerings. This role will be responsible for partnering with product line managers, our investment advisor, marketing, and distribution organizations to define an innovative, integrated, multi-channel (print, web, rep) experience that highlights the value proposition of our offerings and drives customer loyaty. The individual will oversee key components of the product development life cycle including competitive analysis, experience design, development, and implementation.
PAS provides discretionary money management services to Fidelity Investments retail and workplace customers. The PAS Product Management Group is responsible for managing the existing discretionary product line, developing new products and services, and implementing strategies to improve the overall performance of the business.
Primary Responsibilities
* Product Experience Strategy: Define a clear and effective product experience strategy for all PAS products: the Fidelity UMA, PAS, PAS @ Work. Define the end to end customer lifecycle experience including prospect content, investment proposal, on-boarding, on-going investment communications, quarterly and annual portfolio reviews.
* Competitive Analysis: Analyze and evaluate competitors' offerings from a customer experience perspective including communications, web content, rep tools and service model.
* Solution Innovation: Design content and solutions translate key investment offering features into simple, clear customer experience components.
* Investment Content: Partner with our investment advisor, Strategic Advisers', to develop content to support product level messaging and personalized customer communications.
* Product Experience Development: Lead the development and implementation of the product experience including defining business requirements for the web, communications, service model/training, operations, and platform. Ensure consistency of messaging with value prosposition.
* Product Management: Provide support of on-going offerings, including evaluating effectiveness of experience from a customer, distribution and marketing perspective.
* Business Planning: Collaborate with PAS product team to develop the annual and strategic multi-year product roadmap for the introduction of new managed account investment solutions and enhancement of existing products and services. Support development of business case content to justify investments.
* Business Partner Relationships: Establish strong relationships with key support partners, Investment Advisor, Marketing, Distribution, Solution Delivery, Legal/Risk/Complaince and Technology to facilitate cohesive go-to-market implementation of key initiatives.
* Organization Development: Contribute to the on-going development of the Managed Account product group by informal mentoring, and sharing of knowledge and learnings.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
* MBA required, or other advanced degree a plus.
* Minimum of 8-10 years experience of financial industry experience.
* Managed Account experience including Mutual Fund Account (MFA), Separately Managed Accounts (SMA), Unified Managed Account (UMA), Unified Managed Household (UMH).
