The VP - Relationship Manager for Workplace and Tax-Exempt businesses is a leadership position in our Customer Knowledge Center (CKC). CKC is the Customer Relationship Management (CRM)/Marketing Database and Direct Marketing arm of the Fidelity Personal and Workplace Investments organization. This role has overall responsibility for meeting the marketing analytics needs of the Workplace and Tax-Exempt businesses. This individual is responsible for designing, building and running the strategy to deploy a learning agenda, execute marketing campaigns and measure the results. This role requires extensive collaboration with both internal and external partners to bring that strategy to life. The individual has tactical day-today responsibility for ongoing marketing analytics work being performed within CKC. The individual will manage a 2+ member US-based team and 10+ India-based associates. This individual will be expected to play a leadership role on the CKC senior team helping set strategy and setting a leadership example for the 100 person CKC team.
Primary Responsibilities
* Develop a marketing analytics strategy, that includes learning agenda, direct marketing execution, live channel marketing, web marketing, and measurement.
* Serve as liaison with marketing, finance, distribution and technology partners to deliver on this vision. Engage and influence various business partners and project resources at all management levels to resolve issues, set priorities and ensure continued momentum of initiatives.
* Continued awareness of marketing analytics best practices and methodology to ensure that CKC is always bench-marking against world class standards.
* Develop phasing and implementation strategies to ensure timely and realistic delivery of initiatives.
* Provide oversight to all project plans to ensure adherence to Schedule: and to identify risks based on interdependencies.
* Works to ensure that team has appropriate resources for success and that strategic plans include group considerations.
* Manage global team of 20+ persons to deliver on all commitments.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
* College graduate, MBA a plus.
* 15+ years of business analysis experience.
* Strong understanding of Marketing Systems applications and information management technology.
* Track record of influencing business decisions at the executive level.
* Strong executive communication and presentation skills required.
* Strong understanding of the financial services industry.
* Influential Strategic thinker with a strong organizational development orientation.
* Ability to communicate in persuasive and compelling ways.
* Ability to translate business unit needs into deliverable and actionable solutions.
* Proven builder of high performing teams.
Skills and Knowledge
* Industrial knowledge of Fidelity's business.
* Understanding of Business Intelligence Technology and Marketing automation and CRM applications and best practices.
* Fluent in advanced statistical measurement techniques.
* Expertise in marketing analytics.
