You will be responsible for leading the media strategy, activation, and optimization of Fidelity’s advertising investment. In this role, you will be expected to produce data-driven, integrated media plans that deliver business impact for the enterprise.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

Highly competent in integrated planning and communications strategy

You maintain a current POV on evolving media landscape, emerging technologies, consumer trends

You have fluency in ROI measurement and analytics

Experience with digital video, OTT, streaming audio, podcasts, programmatic buying, data personalization, social platforms, digital brand tracking, content marketing/native advertising

The Purpose of Your Role

This position serves as the media lead for specific lines of business within Fidelity’s Channel Marketing organization. In collaboration with the Head of Media, you will be responsible for advancing the media capability by enhancing the end-to-end customer experience and designing experiments to inform the go to market strategy.

The Skills You Bring

A solid foundation of marketing and media strategy

Technical understanding of media research and measurement systems (i.e. DoubleClick, MRI, Comscore)

Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills

Presentation writing and packaging

Advanced use of PowerPoint and Excel

Familiarity with agile principles / working in agile

The Value You Deliver

Representing media channel efforts internally, working closely with Marketing, Creative, Account Service and Measurement/Marketing Effectiveness teams.

Managing Fidelity’s external media agency across integrated planning, activation and analytics teams

Overseeing and approving channel buys, campaign monitoring, and approving media optimizations

Ensuring optimal customer experience with respect to channel strategy, bringing forward innovations that enhance experience and reduce barriers to transact with Fidelity

Enforcing creative and media synergies

Guiding data decisioning within media activation to drive personalization at scale and cross-device synchronization

Packaging summarization of media plan and performance highlights for executive presentations

How Your Work Impacts the Organization

Customer Strategy and Integrated Marketing (CSIM) is the internal marketing organization of Fidelity Investments and is led by the firm’s Chief Marketing Officer. The Media team reports into the Head of Marketing and Advertising Channels within this organization.

Media serves as an enterprise media services capability responsible for the strategic management and oversight of both Retail (Personal Investing) and non-Retail advertising spend.
