Within Architecture & Shared Technology Services (ASTS) we are seeking a skilled application architect to play a hands-on role within our shared services organization. This individual's primary responsibility will be to provide oversight and solutions for one of Fidelity's most critical development initiatives. Primary Responsibilities

* Reports to the Product Manager and work directly with HR and Payroll Leads

* Subject Matter Expert assigned to HR/PR specific business processes

* Define, develop and translate business requirements to proposed technical solutions

* Participate in HR/PR process phases of the project, including post implementation support

* Work directly with and collaborate in a professional manner with client counterpart

* Assists data team in resolving data issues when required

* Assists HRA configuration team in defining and configuring all HR data and business rules

* Document and test HR/PR data and business rules within the appropriate implementation deliverables, user procedures and other client facing documents

* Work with HR/PR Leads to coordinate testing of the communication and training materials.

* Work with HR/PR Leads to coordinate with legacy operations personnel on what, how and when to make appropriate data and business rule changes to the legacy environments during the transition phase of the project.

* Provide support as required to the project team as defined in the project plan and other activities as required from time to time.

* Direct and demonstrable experience with current system development methodologies, six-sigma or equivalent processes, ISO or equivalent certification processes, formal quality assurance and testing programs and methodologies, and formal project management training/techniques and practices (e.g. PMI certification)

The Department

The Position

Fidelity is looking to hire two Quantitative Research Analysts to join its Fixed Income Division in Merrimack, NH. These individuals will analyze and model fixed income securities and work with portfolio managers and traders in the investment process of managing Fidelity's mutual funds and client accounts.

Responsibilities

* Develop quantitative models and tools to value and analyze risks in securities and portfolios

* Engage with the Portfolio Managers and Traders and take part in security selection and portfolio construction

* Make investment recommendations and explain the rationale

* Take initiative and demonstrate leadership skills to contribute to the advancement of the investment process

* Collaborate with other Quantitative Analysts/Associates and Developers in the division

* Explain complex concepts to non-technical people

Qualifications

* Deep understanding of math/statistics is required. Specifically, proficiency in stochastic processes, linear algebra, optimization theory, numerical methods and statistical analysis is necessary

* Knowledge of fixed income securities and valuation, and work experience in the fixed income environment is required

* Experience in modeling Global Bonds, Curves, Credit, High Yield, and Emerging Markets securities is preferred

* Demonstrated experience / expertise in problem solving is required. Some programming experience in C, C++ or Excel VBA is helpful. Knowledge of Matlab, Splus and relational databases are a strong plus

* Very strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working in a team environment
